Overleaf

Overleaf is a collaborative cloud-based LaTeX editor used for writing, editing and publishing scientific documents. It partners with a wide range of scientific publishers to provide official journal LaTeX templates, and direct submission links.  That means you can collaborate online, in real time, on documents requiring very specific and specialized formatting for things like equations.

Important Overleaf Info: READ FIRST!

  • AVAILABILITY: Overleaf is licensed for faculty, staff, and students formally affiliated with the Whiting School of Engineering at JHU. Unfortunately, just collaborating with a WSE affiliate isn’t enough to be covered by our license. Those affiliated with other divisions should contact their local IT organization to check on availability of Overleaf.
  • LOGIN: When logging in, use your [email protected] login. Note there’s no @jhu there, just @jh.edu. This is the most common problem people have when trying to access Overleaf.

Overleaf can be accessed at the URL  https://www.overleaf.com/edu/jhu.
